On March 15, 2017, the Supreme Court entered a judgment in favor of the defendants and against the plaintiff dismissing the complaint. Following a trial on the issue of liability, the jury rendered a verdict in favor of the defendants. The plaintiff's decedent, Seeraj Ramrattan, allegedly was injured when he slipped and fell on premises owned by the defendants.
